Last thursday we had our final AUB Corporate Design Concept presentation. We had been working a lot to finish all the products and especially the second prototype of Paul, the Logomachine. There were many very friendly and patient staff+students helping us building the machine, laser-cutting the letterings for the products, giving us tips and material…
Simon, the head of marketing asked for this second presentation to present our concept to staff responsible for making big decisions, for example the deputy principle. Sadly, there were some discrepancies with the presentation room so we had to postpone it to the afternoon… (at least we had time to eat lunch!) Unfortunately none of them showed up. They say they had a lot to do these days. For Flora and me it was clear that they weren’t interested enough in repositioning their brand in a new effective way. Nonetheless we are convinced about our concept and we’ll keep working on the Corporate Design and hopefully publish it in about 2 months at a high quality level like September Industry. More about the process of the AUB concept soon in our Blog.
Today I have been updating my portfolio and watching Mad Men (series about advertising in the Madison Avenue in the 60’s). The rest of my final week I will be making the last photographs for the Kopfsache and AUB project, helping the fashion students with their brand identities and traveling to London for a follow-up design workshop. Can’t wait to be back in the warm Berlin! (:
